Practical demonstrations are taught alongside the anatomy and biomechanics that underpin each movement. The learning identifies the joints involved, the action occurring at each joint, the muscles producing and stabilising the movement, and the tissues being lengthened. Academic foundations in locomotor-system anatomy, exercise physiology and systems anatomy support the practical modules.

Yes. The programmes are delivered online and can be studied at your own pace. Course materials can be revisited, and tutor support is available through the course Q&A. Please check the individual course page for its current curriculum and requirements.

Assessment methods vary by programme and can include knowledge quizzes and a short practical submission. The purpose is to evidence understanding and teaching competence, not simply attendance. No. EFWA is an independent education provider, and EFWA certificates are not regulated qualifications. They record the learning and competence demonstrated through an EFWA programme. We avoid promising automatic acceptance by every employer, insurer, professional body or country.

Professional requirements vary. Before enrolling, ask the employer, venue, insurer, professional body or local authority relevant to your intended work whether the course meets its requirements. EFWA can explain the content and assessment of its programmes, but the final acceptance decision belongs to that third party.
