EFWA’s refund and cancellation policy explains the 14-day cancellation period, immediate digital access and remedies for faulty online course content.

This policy applies to digital, non-physical courses and learning materials purchased directly from European Fitness and Wellness Academy Ltd (EFWA) through efwa.co.uk. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. Your statutory cancellation rights

For distance contracts, UK consumer law normally provides a 14-day cancellation period. For digital content supplied during that period, EFWA will treat the cancellation right for the digital-content part as lost only where the learner has expressly consented to supply beginning during the cancellation period and has acknowledged that the right will be lost once supply begins.

If a learner expressly asks EFWA to begin any included tutor, assessment or support services during the 14-day cancellation period, the learner may still cancel that service part before it is fully performed, although a proportionate amount for services already supplied may be payable. The cancellation right for that service part is lost only once it has been fully performed after the required request and acknowledgement.

If the required express consent, request or acknowledgement has not been obtained, statutory cancellation rights are not restricted by this policy.

2. Before digital access begins

If you have not begun accessing the course and wish to cancel within the applicable 14-day period, contact EFWA using the details below. Where a statutory cancellation right applies, the payment will be returned to the original payment method.

3. After digital access or included services begin

If you expressly requested immediate supply and acknowledged the loss of the cancellation right, the statutory 14-day cancellation right for the digital-content part may end when supply begins. This does not affect your rights where digital content is faulty, unavailable or not as described.

If you expressly requested included tutor, assessment or support services to begin during the cancellation period, you may cancel that service part before it is fully performed, subject to any lawful proportionate charge for services already supplied. The service cancellation right is lost only after full performance following the required request and acknowledgement.

4. Faulty, unavailable or misdescribed content

Please tell us promptly if a course file, lesson or account access is faulty or materially different from its description. We will first investigate and, where appropriate, restore access, repair the problem or provide a replacement. If the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable time, an appropriate price reduction or refund may be available under UK consumer law.

5. How to request cancellation or a refund

Email info@efwa.co.uk and include:

• your full name and the email address used for the purchase;
• your order number and course name;
• whether you have opened or streamed any course material; and
• a short description of the issue or reason for cancellation.

We aim to acknowledge requests within two business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; bank or payment-provider processing times can vary.

6. Purchases made through another platform

If you purchased through a third-party marketplace or partner platform, the cancellation process of that seller may apply. Your statutory rights are not affected.

7. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
