Scope
These Terms apply to anyone registering for and participating in EFWA® online courses.
Availability of the Website
- You acknowledge that internet data traffic may cause delays and that EFWA® is not liable for delays ordinarily inherent in internet use.
- While we use reasonable endeavours to keep the website available, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, 24/7 access. The site may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, modifications, or for reasons beyond our control (including network or provider outages).
Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 25th October 2022
1) Who we are?

Company number: 11479811
Contact: info@efwa.co.uk · 07732206691
We operate efwa.co.uk and the EFWA® e-learning platform.
2) What these terms cover
These terms apply when you browse our site, create an account, or purchase digital, non-physical courses and materials from us.
3) Ordering & prices
- Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
- You’ll see the total payable and any instalment options at checkout before you pay.
- Receipts are emailed to the address on your account.
4) Delivery (digital access)
Access to your course is granted to your EFWA® account immediately after successful payment. If access doesn’t appear within one hour, contact us and we’ll sort it.
5) Your account
You must be 18+ (or have parental consent). Keep your login details safe. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
6) Licence & acceptable use
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the content for your own study. Please don’t share accounts, resell materials, record lessons, or post our content publicly. We may suspend access if the service is misused.
7) Assessments & certificates
Some programmes include assessments. Certificates are issued when you’ve met the stated requirements. We may ask for ID to verify your details before issuing a certificate.
8) Cancellations & refunds (digital content)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the 14-day cancellation right ends once you choose immediate access and streaming/download begins.
- If you haven’t started any lesson, you may cancel within 14 days for a full refund.
- If you have started, refunds aren’t available unless the content is faulty or not as described and we can’t fix it promptly.
For how to cancel, see section 14 (Contact us).
9) Subscriptions & instalments
If you pay by subscription/instalments, billing continues until cancelled. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We don’t offer part-month refunds. Access may be paused on failed payments.
10. Payments & security
We use trusted payment providers (e.g. Revolut, Square, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPall, Mollie). Card details are processed on their systems; we don’t store full card numbers. Your connection to our site is protected by HTTPS.
11) Service availability
We aim to keep the platform available and reliable. Short maintenance windows or outages may occur. We’ll act reasonably to restore service.
12) Intellectual property
All videos, texts, graphics, PDFs, logos and trade marks are owned by EFWA® or our licensors. No rights are granted other than the study licence in section 6.
13) Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud or for death/personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, our total liability for paid services is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
14) Contact us (cancellations, support & complaints)
Email: info@efwa.co.uk (include your order number and registered email). We aim to reply within two business days. If we can’t resolve an issue, you may seek advice from relevant consumer bodies.
15) Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll post the new version with a revised “Effective date”. Continued use of the site means you accept the changes.
16) Law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction

1) Scope
This policy applies to digital, non-physical products sold on efwa.co.uk (online courses, lesson recordings, downloads, assessments and certificates).
2) Your right to cancel (cooling-off)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase unless you choose immediate access.
At checkout we ask you to confirm:
“I want immediate access and acknowledge this waives my 14-day cancellation right for digital content.”
- If you have not started any lesson and you did not consent to immediate access, you may cancel within 14 days for a full refund.
- If you have started streaming/downloading lessons or consented to immediate access, the 14-day cancellation right ends.
When does “access start”? Your first login to the course area, or the first stream/download—whichever happens earlier.
3) When refunds are offered
We will refund if the content is faulty or not as described, and we cannot fix it within a reasonable time. Our remedy order is:
- Fix/restore access; or
- Replace the content; or
- Refund the affected item.
Faulty means a defect on our side (e.g., broken files, persistent platform error). Internet speed, device limits or firewall restrictions on your side are not faults.
4) Assessments, verification & certificates
- Assessment and verification fees become non-refundable once a submission window opens or a slot is booked.
- Certificates are issued after you meet the programme requirements; academic integrity rules apply (plagiarism/impersonation voids eligibility and may lead to account suspension without refund).
5) Subscriptions & instalments
- Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime; cancellation applies at the end of the current billing period. Part-period refunds are not offered.
- Instalment plans spread the fee for the full programme. If you have started access, the outstanding instalments remain payable (statutory rights preserved).
- Failed payments may pause access until resolved.
6) Bundles, promotions & gift codes
- Bundle discounts apply to the bundle as a whole; pro-rata refunds are not available after access starts.
- Expired or mis-used codes are invalid.
- Gift cards/vouchers are non-refundable unless required by law.
7) Technical requirements
You are responsible for having a suitable device, updated browser and stable internet. Incompatibility with unsupported setups or corporate firewalls is not a refund ground. We’ll provide reasonable guidance to help you access materials.
8) Chargebacks & disputes
Please contact us first—most issues are resolved within 2 business days. Unauthorised transactions are handled under card-scheme rules. We may suspend access during a chargeback investigation and dispute unfounded chargebacks with activity logs.
9) How to cancel or request a refund
Email info@efwa.co.uk with:
- Your order number, full name and registered email
- Course name and a brief reason (e.g., “faulty link in Module 2”)
Timeline: we acknowledge within 2 business days and decide within 14 days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method (bank processing typically 5–10 business days). We may request ID to protect your account.
10) Currency, taxes & third-party marketplaces
- Prices are in GBP (£); bank/FX fees from your provider are not refundable.
- If you purchased through a third-party marketplace (e.g., an external platform), their refund rules apply.
11) Misuse & fair use
We may refuse a refund and revoke access for policy abuse, content scraping/sharing, or repeated claims inconsistent with usage logs.
12) Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights under UK law.
